As part of Year of Biomedical Engineering, the Association of Technical Industrial Engineers of Barcelona, Barcelona Medical Association (COMB) and Barcelona Activa are holding the first Fòrum d’Startups Biomèdiques (Biomedical Start-up Forum) on 21 March in Barcelona.

The event will kick off with a welcome by Jaume Padrós, COMB president; Miquel Darnés, dean of Enginyers BCN; and Jaume Baró, director of Business Services at Barcelona Activa.

Then, there will be a panel discussion with Lluís Pareras, COMB director of Innovation and director of Healthequity, and Josep Samitier, director of the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).

It will finish off with a presentation on three success stories moderated by Jordi Naval, CEO of Biocat.
