Healthcare and life sciences start-ups are increasingly interested in stock markets. While in Catalonia venture capital is the main source of funding in the sector, the stock market is the second and has gone from raising €4.3 million in 2012 to €24.6 million in 2019.

What are the main differences between the main equity market and the BME Growth market? And with international markets like the Euronext or Nasdaq? What do companies interested in going public need to be clear on? Which profiles do they need to establish the strategy and manage the company in trading? How is the Covid-19 pandemic affecting this? 

For the next CataloniaBio & HealthTech Lessons Learned session, held on 3 December online, we’ve invited four entrepreneurs and financial directors who have experienced this first-hand to share their expertise, the lessons they’ve learned and their view of the future.
