CataloniaBio & HealthTech Sustainability Workgroup, the Mental Health Cluster of Catalonia and ACCIÓ (Government of Catalonia) are promoting the Shared Value programme, with collaboration from Roots for Sustainability, in order to guide companies in the biomedicine and health sector in transitioning to more sustainable, circular business models, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Companies that favour a sustainable economy are the companies of the future given that society, the market and also investors are increasingly demanding this commitment.
Shared Value programme consists of training workshops and specialised consultancy to work on identifying opportunities for shared value among the participating companies and to diagnose each company in terms of sustainability and implement possible improvements in economic, social and environmental results based on the B Corp methodology.
Mentors: The Shared Value programme will include experts from R4S agency, with more than 10 years of experience in designing, implementing and evaluating transformation projects for companies, organisations and governments on sustainability, social impact and inclusive business. R4S led the B Corp Movement in Spain in 2014 and currently chairs the board of trustees of B Lab Spain (the driving force behind the B Corp Movement in Spain).
