The Biotechnology Communicators Association (Comunica Biotec) organises the IV BioComunica Congress on September 24, 2018, within the framework of the BioSpain 2018 fair in Seville, aimed at all communicators in biotechnology and health industries.

The event will be presented by Roi Villar, chairman at Comunica Biotec; Lucía Cecilia, in charge of communications at the Spanish Association of Biocompanies (Asebio) and BioSpain 2018, and Juan Carlos Esteban, Secretary at Comunica Biotec.

This year’s programme offers debates and round tables on science, biotechnology and fake news; biotechnology training initiatives; how to handle patients’ expectations when it comes to precision medicine; communication and lobbies in the scientific industry and data protection and confidentiality in scientific information.

Pere Estupinyà, biochemist, communicator and host of TVE’s El Cazador de cerebros (The Brain Hunter), will also participate in a special colloquium.
