Google.org has announced that it will invest 200,000 euros in an artificial intelligence (AI) project focused on improving cancer patients called GrowAI by HumanITcaremember of CataloniaBio & HealthTech.

HumanITcare has been selected to be part of the Social Tides program organized by Inco, a leading French company in supporting innovative startups to maximize their social impact. The funding from Google.org for GrowAI will allow HumanITcare to work on the development of advanced AI solutions to monitor cancer patients from their homes, "facilitating access to innovative therapies," the company's statement said.

With a solution that allows monitoring digital biomarkers for chronic diseases such as cardiac, pulmonary, and diabetes conditions, the program emphasizes oncological diseases, especially to democratize access to gene therapies. "This will allow cost savings, and above all, improve the quality of life of the patient, from the comfort of their home," emphasized by HumanITcare.
