CataloniaBio & HealthTech is organising an online session of the CEO Council with the participation of special guests Borja Carsi, Investments Officer at the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Luis Sánchez Álvarez, Policy Officer at the European Innovation Council (EIC), on 8 July.

The objective of this CEO Council is to present the different financing tools that institutions like the EIB and the EIC make available to start-ups (early stage) and companies in the life sciences and health.

The session is targeted exclusively at the CEOs, founding partners and board members of the start-ups and companies associated with CataloniaBio & HealthTech.

Welcome by Montserrat Vendrell, managing partner of Alta Life Sciences and CataloniaBio & HealthTech board member, and Melqui Calzado, general secretary of CataloniaBio & HealthTech.

What are CEO Councils? 

CEO Councils are small-group talks with members of the boards of directors of start-ups and companies from CataloniaBio & HealthTech, where a prestigious expert or business or political leader is invited to share experiences and strategic perspectives for companies.

These sessions were first held in 2017, when Catalonia already had a consolidated business community and an ever-growing network of entrepreneurs in the life sciences and health.In addition to presenting topics of interest, CEO Councils also help strengthen the relationships of this invaluable group for the ecosystem.
