In an ever-changing environment like health, CataloniaBio & HealthTech believes it is key to bridge the gap between hospitals and industry to make the latter a driving force for developing new products and services to address unmet medical needs. 

As such, the Hospital Connection sessions, organised by the CataloniaBio & HealthTech Innovation Workgroup are an excellent opportunity to hear from professionals from hospital centres first-hand about the needs they detect in their daily experience with patients and in healthcare emergencies like COVID-19 (PPEs, artificial intelligence, apps, clinical data management software, etc.).

The Hospital Connection sessions also give participants insight into collaboration models and lines of clinical development at Catatonia’s top hospitals.

Between 2019 and 2020, three sessions were held with 19 speakers and more than 100 professionals.
