CataloniaBio & HealthTech organize the first CEO Council session of the year, where Oriol Pinya, president of SpainCap, co-founder of Abac Capital, and vice president of Barcelona Global and FemCat, will participate as a special guest. He will talk about his investment prospects for 2024. 

The goal of this CEO Council is to discuss and identify the challenges and opportunities that 2024 presents in terms of investment. Starting with global projections and focusing on the healthcare sector. 

Oriol Pinya is the president of SpainCap and co-founder of Abac Capital. Previously, he worked at Apax Partners for 15 years as an Equity Partner, responsible for Apax Spain and co-head of the Consumer team globally. He has also worked at Merrill Lynch and Boston Consulting Group. Currently, he collaborates with and is a member of the board of several non-profit organizations, including the Barcelona School of Economics; the HSB Club of Barcelona, of which he is President; Barcelona Global and FemCat, of which he is Vice President; the Pere Tarrés Foundation; and ACG. Pinya holds a degree in Business Administration from ESADE (Barcelona), a CEMS Master's from HEC (Paris), a PIM from the Michigan Business School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
